Summer School is Here Again

The summer semester is here and the halls of Columbia are filled, yet again, with student’s excited chatter. Returning students enjoyed a well deserved break where they rested and, in some cases, even did a little bit of travelling. This semester, Columbia also welcomed new students from every corner of the world to the school family.

Columbia’s new students enjoyed a fun-filled orientation which lasted two days. During orientation, students familiarized themselves with the school as well the residences and they had a chance to interact and make new friends with their peers.

New students participated in various activities including a scavenger hunt, a walking tour of Westdale and even a trip to the world-famous Niagara Falls. They also collected their IDs, registered for classes and had their uniforms fitted.

A number of parents took part in the orientation. They met school staff, toured the school and residences and took part in the different field trips.

For parents and students alike, orientation was a great introduction to Columbia and many enjoyed the experience.

Welcome to all new students! We look forward to having you as a part of the Columbia Family!
