Columbia International College

Columbia is pleased to announce a new partnership with the University of Waterloo, Faculty of Science. Columbia graduates will now enjoy guaranteed admission to the Faculty of Science.

This agreement is in addition to Columbia’s existing partnership with the University’s Faculty of Mathematics. Columbia has enjoyed a close relationship with the Faculty of Science at the University of Waterloo for many years, and the agreement formalizes this relationship.

The new partnership, signed on March 8, 2010 at the University of Waterloo, will offer guaranteed admission to students who meet minimum admission requirements. This means that Columbia students will not be subject to higher requirements when the University raises admission requirements due to competition for program spots.

July graduates will also benefit from this new partnership. The Faculty of Science will guarantee admission into the Honours Science Regular Program for students who graduate in July, regardless of availability.

We are excited that this new partnership enables Columbia to provide graduates with even more opportunities. This is yet another step in fulfilling our commitment to providing seamless progression to the world’s top universities.
