Columbia International College

On Wednesday January 11th and Thursday January 12th Columbia will be holding the first Club Fair of 2012 in the Ainsliewood Gym.

All students should come:
• Wednesday January 11th during PERIOD 6 (after school)
OR
• Thursday January 12th during PERIOD 3 or PERIOD 6 (after school)

This year more than 60 clubs are open for registration, but remember there are limited spaces for each club. So, if you are passionate about something...you should register right away!

Clubs are a great way to make new friends, and learn a new skill. They are fun, exciting and you can write about them on your university applications.

Some of Columbia’s most popular clubs are:
• Glee
• Improv
• Debate
• Cooking

Students who are interested in giving back to the community and earning extra community service hours can register for:
• SOCS (Students on Campus Society)
• Hammer Heads

Columbia also offers tons of Athletic Clubs at Ainsliewood and Pine Hall.

From time to time your peers may run a club as well, if you would like to lead your own club speak with Mr. Brandon in Room S244 (that is in the New South Wing).

Clubs will start Monday January 16th

Clubs run at 4:15pm 5:15pm, and 6:15pm. Do not worry, buses will run to take students home to all residences afterward.

*YAA Students: If you are unsure about how many clubs you must register for based on your division; please speak with your house parent or Ms. Carissa.
